São Paulo, probably the most cosmopolitan city of Brazil, is hosting the Brazil Open for the first time, and from now on, is the new capital of South American tennis.
Even though I was eliminated during the first round facing Thomaz Bellucci, to whom I had previously faced a couple of times, my stay on that city was an amazing experience. The surrounding beaches are amazing and the South Atlantic landscapes are just a breathtaking experience. I had the chance to enjoy Sao Paulo’s delightful gastronomy and to stay in one of its best hotels, which services and amenities make anyone feel like a first class guest.
There is something about São Paulo, maybe it is the vanguardist vibe of a contemporary city, that encouraged me to display a new look, the #NeymarStyle. It is some sort of homage to the art of sports that can be seen in Brazil that embodies the Barcelona’s sportsman. So I found the perfect accessory and the best souvenir from that city: a beautiful wooden sunglasses totally handcrafted. A unique piece that will always remind me of that place.
The good thing about living the tennis experience in all its dimensions, in an out from the play courts.
