Santi Giraldo played his second match at the Telcel Mexican Open 2015, this time on doubles. The Colombian teamed up with Yen-Hsun Lu, Taiwan’s right-handed tennis player, who defeated Victor Estrella (Quito’s ATP 250 winner) on singles in the first round.
This match rivals were Robert Farah and Sebastián Cabal, who recently won the Sao Paulo ATP 250 and were semifinalists at the Rio de Janeiro ATP 500.
The match started around 8pm this Tuesday; Juan Cabal and Robert Farah were the winners with scores of 6-2 7-6(4). The match lasted about an hour.
The seeded number 4 of the tournament scored two breaks on the first set and took it by 6-2.
On the second set, Santi and Yen were really synchronized and led the final set to a tiebreak, where Cabal and Farah won by 7-4.
